Maja – EVMsplit 5006


The Maja – EVMsplit 5006 is a versatile machine for removing medium fat layers, sinews and membranes from bigger cuts of beef, veal, pork and lamb.

Process optimization by split teeth transport roller
Special transport and twin teeth rollers ensure the 3 steps fat, sinew, membrane skinning and removal can be performed on the same machine.
The transport/tooth roller has two different tooth shapes:
1/3 coarse tooth shape for removal of fat and sinews.
2/3 fine tooth shape for removal of membranes.
The usual preparation of meat by manual removal of fat and sinews combines with the skinning process.
Produces time savings and improves product hygiene.
Increases yield, as coarse fat removal roller is used for strong fat and sinews
Fine tooth roller is used for fine skinning and avoids precious meat waste.
Staff savings as all steps are done by only one operator.
Economic solution: 1 machine − 3 applications.

Maja – EVMsplit 5006 Operator-friendly machine structure
The machine’s ergonomic design produces high efficiency, accuracy and power-savings for perfect skinning results.
No protruding handles on machine‘s exterior allow operator to stand closer while processing.
The Maja – VM 5006split takes standard EII / EIII skin boxes in the machine at different heights.
Operation by ergonomic foot pedal design (flat material), for operator comfort without marks left at the operator’s foot.

Individual line configuration
As Maja – EVMsplit 5006 has no lateral adjustment handles, it integrates in different work places without affecting its handling.
Easy to move for flexible use around the processing plant.

Transport/tooth roller cleaning
Transport and scraper roller with hygiene radius for easy cleaning prevent sinews and fat deposit residue.
For perfect skinning results, the transport and tooth roller continuously clean with compressed air.
The air nozzles move mechanically with a guide mechanism.

Requires little maintenance.
Compressed air is for teeth roller cleaning not to move the nozzle bar.
Simple clean, as the nozzle bar moves into a cleaning position.
Nozzle bar has low noise and reduces air consumption for efficient nozzle cleaning.
The Maja – EVMsplit 5006 has an air filter system with prefilter and microfilter.

Easy knife changing by quick-locking device
Fast and easy, tool-free knife changing in seconds
Tamper-proof, encoded knife holder guarantees consistent skinning result and high yield.

Easy and safe handling of the knife holder
Knife holder doesn’t require removal to clean or change.
Knife remains in machine and is only put into cleaning position.
EVM 5006split knife always achieves good skinning quality, which reduces maintenance costs and increases operator and cleaning staff safety.
Requires no maintenance staff for knife change.
