Polymer Casings

Combining multiple polymer layers, polymer casings provide a range of configurable product characteristics. The Naloferm is a controlled water-permeable casings, since polymer casings have traditionally been used for cooked sausages or cheese, the Naloferm contains polymers that allow for a higher permeability.

These casings can be used for sausages and can be cured in the ripening room, the same way as natural and collagen casings with no risk of dry edge formation. In addition to this, Naloferm casings are resistant to mould, without the use of additives or immersion in an anti-mould bath.
